Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure, and for giving accurate information.

Movody provides general fitness information, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Body estimates (such as body-fat percentage from tape measurements) are approximations. Plans generated by the app or written by a coach are not tailored medical guidance. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have an injury or a health condition, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. You exercise at your own risk.

Coaches on Movody are independent professionals, not our employees or agents. They are responsible for the plans and advice they give you. Only share with a coach what you are comfortable sharing, and use your own judgment before following any plan.

Comments, reviews, notes, plans and images you post must be your own and lawful. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, spam, misleading, or that infringes anyone’s rights, and you must not upload images of other people.

You can report content or block a person from the menu next to what they posted. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or remove the accounts responsible.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a limited license to store, display and deliver it only as needed to run the Service (for example, showing your review to other users, or delivering your request to the coach you picked). You can delete your content, or your whole account, in the app.

Courses are created by coaches and reviewed before they are published. You may watch them for your own personal, non-commercial use; don’t copy, redistribute or resell them, or try to get around access controls. Movody is free to use today. If we offer paid features in the app, they will be sold through the App Store under Apple’s terms, with prices shown before you buy.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, Settings, Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users at risk.

The Service, its design and software belong to us, and courses belong to the coaches who made them. These Terms don’t give you any rights beyond using the Service as described.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for plans or advice given by coaches. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

If you use the iOS app, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms. Your use must also follow the App Store Terms of Service.

We may update these Terms and will post the new date above; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. Questions: hello@movody.fit.
